How Long Does a Bond Clean Take?

It's one of the first questions people ask when they're moving out: how long is this actually going to take? A full bond clean usually takes around 6 to 8 hours, but it genuinely depends on the size of the property, how many bathrooms and bedrooms there are, and how much detail work is needed.

What affects the time

• Size of the property, more rooms means more time
• Condition of the oven, cooktop and rangehood, these take longer if they haven’t been cleaned in a while
• Whether carpets are being steam cleaned as part of the same visit
• How much detail work is needed in bathrooms, particularly grout and mould
