Do You Need to Be Home During a Bond or Vacate Clean?

For a domestic clean, it makes no difference, we’re happy to work around you being home. Bond and vacate cleans are a bit different, and it comes down to getting the best possible result.

We ask that the property be empty of your belongings for a bond or vacate clean, so we can get into every corner properly and work through the full checklist without anything in the way. It also means we’re not waiting around furniture or personal items to get the detail work done, oven, skirting boards, window tracks, and everything else on the list.

Practically, that means arranging key access for us rather than needing to be there in person. Let us know how you’d like to handle it when you book, whether that’s a lockbox, meeting us there, or coordinating through your property manager.
