These two terms get used interchangeably a lot, and honestly, the clean itself is basically identical. Both are worked to the same full, real-estate exit standard, covering the kitchen, bathrooms, windows, walls and floors. The real difference is who’s booking it and why.
A bond clean is typically booked by the outgoing tenant, done at the end of a lease so the property passes the exit inspection and the bond gets returned in full.
A vacate clean is usually booked directly by a landlord or property manager, getting a property ready to hand over to the next tenant once it’s already been returned. Same full checklist, just booked by a different party and often on a tighter turnaround between leases.
Either way, the standard doesn’t change. Every bond and vacate clean we do gets the same checklist and the same 24-hour follow-up guarantee if anything’s flagged after inspection.
